2011 is the Marquee’s 7th year running with a vast array of legendary acts that have played over the last 6 years from
Bob Dylan, Jay Z, Tony Bennett, Brian Wilson, Dolly Parton, Pink, Diana Ross, Lady Gaga, Paul Weller,Neil Young & Christy Moore.
Peter Aiken said “We’re delighted to have Imelda May on the bill for the Marquee next year, and this will be Christy Moore’s 7th year playing the Marquee. He’s the first act we approach every year to start the line-up. Elton John wanted to come back to play the Marquee as he enjoyed it so much the last time he played back in 2007. It’s also great to have Alexandra Burke who sold out 2 shows in Belfast and Dublin. Bell X1 will also return to play the Marquee for a 3rd time, they played sold out shows back in 2007 & 2009”
