Decades Festival 2009 (PDF)
The Decades Festival, which took place in 40 pubs across Cork city in August 2009 was heralded as a great success!
Venues around the city really gave it their all, with an immense amount of thought and effort put in for the weekend and there were all sorts of strange and wonderful things to be seen and done. You could have gone back in time in a Delorean car, had a chat with Bosco in his box, learned to do the Charleston swing or had your dinner in a red double decker bus!
The real stars of the show though were the people who came from all over to take part in the first ever Decades Festival. You might have been mistaken into thinking you had taken a wrong turn somewhere as hippies, flappers, rock stars and disco divas took over Cork city and it buzzed with excitement for the weekend.
