Eamon Morrissey’s relationship with The Brother began when his solo show opened in the Peacock Theatre thirty-five years ago. The hilarious writing of Myles na gCopaleen (a.k.a. Flann O Brien - author of At Swim Two Birds), combined with the comic talent of Eamon Morrissey, add up to a vibrant piece of entertainment that has endured through the years.
If you want to learn at source about the atomic dangers of bicycles, and to understand why ‘a pint of plain is your only man’, then treat yourself to The Brother.
Ripe for a revival in these stringent times this fresh look at The Brother was premiered in Spring 2009, and has, in spite of the penury of the masses, been playing to gatherings of raucous and enthusiastic rabble around the country.
