Mesmerising Irish music, song and dance show, Dancing Thru the Ages, is set to make its spectacular Cork City debut this July at the Firkin Crane Theatre.

The Nina In Me - Karen Underwood’s one-woman show. The African-American singer, known locally as “The Chicago Diva,” will perform Nina Simone’s timeless songs including Ain’t Got No, My Baby Just Cares For Me, Here Comes the Sun and Feeling Good. These will be interwoven with Karen’s searingly honest tales of growing up black in America.

Definitely not a day of rest! Sunday nights in the Half Moon will begin with a performance by a live three-piece band and professional “tango Nuevo” dancers. Then everyone will be invited onto the dance floor to show off their tango skills and to learn new ones from the dancers who will circulate among the crowd.

Following a sell-out run in the Cork Arts Theatre, off-Broadway’s longest-running musical comedy, I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change!, transfers to the Half Moon Theatre. Described as “Seinfield set to music,” the show explores everything you secretly thought about dating, marriage and romance – but were afraid to admit!
